This spacious and luxurious two bedroom apartment is located above the Cat Cabinet museum on one of Amsterdam's most prestigious and beautiful canals. The house used to be home to the mayor of Amsterdam (not to mention Brad Pitt and George Clooney when they were shooting Ocean's Twelve in Amsterdam...) and is now home to a lovely museum dedicated exclusively to art depicting cats. The apartment is equipped with two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and one with a regular bed, a living room, fully equipped kitchen and two bathrooms. Located on the 3d floor of this monumental building, all rooms offer a wonderful view of the Herengracht, one of the most central canals of Amsterdam. From the house it is a short walk to the flower market, the Jordaan or the Rijksmuseum. CAT1689 is the perfect base to explore Amsterdam or to enjoy a comfortable private evening in front of the fireplace at your home away from home in Amsterdam.
CAT1689 sleeps a maximum of 4 adult guests (it is possible to accomodate a couple with 3 children). The minimum stay
is 5 nights. For those allergic to cats: be advised that there are several 'real' cats living in the building (though not in the apartment). |
